These works are translated by a creative, young girl whose growth was interrupted. The gravity of her pain is buried very deep. This page is an effort to rescue her expressing as God allows, her thoughts as they unfold. Now as she peers through the lens of a woman, she endeavors to free herself. As she taps into those hidden places, a true poet is sure to emerge. I hope as you read, you too will unearth some things inside yourself and with her, continue to grow.

Belly of the Beast
I'm in the belly of the beast
The darkness here is obscene
Coals of fire for concrete
Death does not come when you want it
Though you beckon, it tarries
Its music, deafening screams swallowed up in silence
Yea means nay and night removes the daylight
Like resembles hate and
Destruction is encased in dreadful bliss
The memory of love is consumed
In its absence chaos runs rampant
Comfort is found in defeat
I have no voice, no water for tears
Pure agony, my weariness is rest
Pain camouflaged in pleasure
No meat, no drink
Only fire embraces
No childlike visage to brighten the soul
Buried so deeply no vision of earth
The galaxy hides its face from me
There is no sunlight and no song
