These works are translated by a creative, young girl whose growth was interrupted. The gravity of her pain is buried very deep. This page is an effort to rescue her expressing as God allows, her thoughts as they unfold. Now as she peers through the lens of a woman, she endeavors to free herself. As she taps into those hidden places, a true poet is sure to emerge. I hope as you read, you too will unearth some things inside yourself and with her, continue to grow.

This Storm
This storm my life has been
Never liked to stay still
Long enough to lean into my pain
Rather communed with many distractions
A haven of sorts full of positive actions
From a fraction of my soul
Twas never an option to be present
Hope tried and failed
So my relationship with my passions grew stronger
Truth sprays from my lips
While love remains in hiding
Spontaneously, they take turns
Then side by side as allies
Always my fortress
Away from the deluge I stray
Though the thunder beckons
I keep safely tucked away
Within Love's bosom
While the winds of negativity roar
Restless hail of hatred sprinting
Down upon me before hitting the floor
I'm sure it will pass, The book says I win
But it is a beastly journey wearing this skin
Enduring this storm my life has been
