Tormenting the Heart
I'm the magnet, you're the metal
Drawn to me with such great force
It is so hard to ignore
Few things can distract us more
There is something so strong between us
But we must find a way to subdue it
It appears this thing is bigger than we thought
Too large to avoid or sweep under a rug
We had to confront this and figure things out
Find our way and grow through it
Instead of running away only to come right back to it
It seems that we have at last
We both made commitments that we must keep
And though our hearts defiantly rebel
We have to let these feelings sleep
And treat it like a dream...
